Rosberg romps to Russian win as disaster for Vettel Nico Rosberg wins at the Russian Grand Prix to extend his World Championship advantage over Lewis Hamilton, who finished second in Sochi. The German 43 points clear ahead of defending world champion. Hamilton, 10th on the grid following a power-unit problem in qualifying, benefitted from a decent start and first-lap incidents, before early overtaking manoeuvres on Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen. Sebastian Vettel spun off and into the Turn 3 barriers with a puncture on the opening lap, following a triple dose of contact from Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat, with the Russian’s teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, also involved… more to follow
