Venturi & Dragon: Same car, different seasons

Venturi and Dragon Racing may be running the same powertrain in the back of their cars, but the two teams have fared very differently so far this season. Dragon are the only customer team on the grid, running Venturi’s VM200-FE-01 powertrain. Surprisingly though it was Dragon who hit the ground running in the early part of the season, with a podium finish in Punta del Este and a victory in Mexico after Lucas di Grassi’s disqualification from the race. Since then, however, Venturi have found their feet. They claimed their first podium of the season in Long Beach and are on their way to becoming top five regulars, after struggling for pace in the opening rounds of the season. But why are...
