Whiting visits Baku: 'It'll be a faster Singapore'

Spanish Grand Prix – The FIA's Charlie Whiting has paid a visit to the Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan, ahead of the venue's debut in Formula 1 this year. The race is set to be held on the weekend of June 19th and with just six weeks or so to go, the FIA's Race Director & Safety Delegate Charlie Whiting has investigated the ongoing works at the circuit. The inspection was due to evaluate the quality of the work and facilities to 'ensure it will be fit for purpose of hosting an F1 street race'.
