FIA: Stricter engine limit won't lead to mass penalties

Formula 1 is not heading for an era of extreme poor reliability despite the number of engines allowed per season being cut back over the next few years, reckons the FIA. As part of an engine agreement put together between the manufacturers and the FIA, drivers will be limited to just three engines per season from 2018 onwards. Furthermore, there will be only two energy stores, control electronics and MGU-K allowed, which is half the number used nowadays.
