Lynn optimistic of chance after Verstappen, Vandoorne success

Alex Lynn says F1 teams are showing confidence in their younger drivers and is hopeful of a similar opportunity if he can deliver in GP2 this season. The Williams development driver launched his GP2 campaign with a solid opener in Barcelona after winning the sprint race and also enjoyed a full test day with Williams in the first in-season F1 test on Tuesday. The British driver has explained his role has been altered at Williams in order for him to concentrate on his GP2 title charge which he hopes to use as the stepping stone into Formula 1.
