Magnussen and Ricciardo to receive Renault engine upgrades

Monaco GP: Renault driver Kevin Magnussen is reported to have received the nod for power unit upgrades ahead of team-mate Jolyon Palmer. The new parts were tested by both Magnussen and reserve driver Esteban Ocon after the Spanish GP, and are being run a race earlier than expected. Autosport reports the parts are only being run by Magnussen due to shortages, though were originally expected to be implemented in Canada. Red Bull will also receive upgrades for one driver under the TAG Heuer branding, though also only for Daniel Ricciardo’s vehicle.
