Daniel Ricciardo dominates Monaco GP second practice

Daniel Ricciardo was fastest for Red Bull Racing in second practice for the Monaco Grand Prix. The Red Bull racer clocked a 1m14.607s on a set of Pirelli’s new ultra-soft compound to end Thursday over half a second clear of the two Mercedes team-mates. Ricciardo’s quick lap was four tenths faster than last year’s pole time and a second off Sebastian Vettel’s outright pole record from 2011. Lewis Hamilton, fastest in the morning session, was second, with team-mate Nico Rosberg a further four tenths adrift in third position.
