Sainz penalised for gearbox change

Carlos Sainz will lose five places on the grid for the Canadian Grand Prix after being hit with a gearbox-change penalty. Sainz was set to start from 15th after a three-place penalty to teammate Daniil Kvyat was applied. Since the gearbox was not used for six consecutive races, Sainz will be handed a five-place grid penalty that will drop him down the order.
