Mallya: Calendar additions ‘always a positive'

European Grand Prix – Force India team principal Vijay Mallya has praised the desire for Formula One to explore new markets on the run-up to the first race in Baku. Just one week after the Canadian Grand Prix, Azerbaijan plays host to a Formula One race for the first time in the sport's history. The 6 kilometre, 20-turn street circuit in Baku has been designed by Formula One's favoured circuit designer, Hermann Tilke and has extended the Formula One calendar to record-breaking 21 races. Previewing this weekend's race, Force India's Vijay Mallya said he was optimistic that the venue can equal the popularity of the recent additions to the calendar; Austin (Texas), Mexico and Russia....
