Raikkonen unhappy with poor Canadian showing
Canadian Grand Prix – Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen could only manage P6 on a weekend where Ferrari showed they could fight Mercedes for the win. Raikkonen had qualified P6 on Saturday, but was almost 0.6 seconds down on teammate Vettel in Q3. He finished in the same position on Sunday, having run the same strategy as Sebastian Vettel. However, due to being further back in the first place, Raikkonen emerged in traffic after the first stop and had to spend time overtaking. While he showed flashes of decent pace during the race, a struggle to keep tyre temperatures in the optimum window meant that Raikkonen was powerless to stop Nico Rosberg powering past him in the closing stages. “It...
