Ricciardo says Red Bull couldn't have finished any higher

European Grand Prix – Red Bull could only manage P7 & P8 on Sunday, and Daniel Ricciardo says that's where the pace of their car was on race day. Ricciardo started from the front row, having qualified P3 on Saturday before the penalty of Force India's Sergio Perez was applied. However, he went backwards during the race. Overtaken by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel early on, it became clear Red Bull were struggling for pace. The team ended up running a two stop strategy, unlike the front runners on one, and were the only drivers to run the Medium tyre, fitting that compound at their second stops.
