Ecclestone successor requires FIA approval says Todt

FIA President Jean Todt has revealed that the organisation he presides over is required to approve of Bernie Ecclestone’s successor as CEO of Formula 1. Speaking to media at the FIA Sport Conference in Turin, FIA president Todt said, “The actual promoter [Ecclestone]  has been doing an extraordinary job to develop Formula 1. That doesn’t mean we do always agree, but I do respect all that he has been doing.
