Williams duo encouraged by wet running

Williams Martini Racing Williams duo Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa were encouraged by the mileage they were able to rack up during wet/dry conditions at the Austrian Grand Prix on Friday. Williams has traditionally struggled in wet conditions since the start of the V6 era but has typically been strong at the Red Bull Ring, finishing on the podium in both 2014 and 2015. Heavy rain fell during the second practice and both Bottas and Massa were able to pilot the FW38 in the tricky conditions, winding up ninth and 12th respectively.
