Horner: Newey is heavily involved in 2017 F1 car

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has revealed that the team's ace designer Adrian Newey is inspired by the 2017 Formula 1 rules and the scope they have for engineering innovation. Speaking at the launch of Red Bull and Aston Martin's new AM-RB 001 hypercar, Horner told media: 'I think he's excited by the regulation change for 2017 so he's splitting his time very much between the two projects.' 'Once the Aston Martin project is into a detailed design phase he tends to step back at that point.
