Raikkonen happy to disappoint detractors with new Ferrari deal

Kimi Raikkonen says it gives him pleasure to have disappointed some people by securing a new contract with the Ferrari team for next season. Raikkonen's future was subject to speculation for months before the Italian team announced a new deal with the Finn on Friday morning. The decision caused a stir among many F1 fans, who expected Ferrari to replace Raikkonen.
