Leclerc would feel ready for 2017 F1 jump

Scuderia Ferrari Charles Leclerc says he would feel ready if the opportunity to race in Formula 1 next season came his way. Leclerc, 18, joined Ferrari’s young driver scheme at the start of the year and currently leads the GP3 Series standings, racing for ART Grand Prix Leclerc made his test debut for Ferrari at Silverstone, sandwiched by two FP1 outings with Haas, having placed 16th in the first practice session at the Hungaroring. “Yeah, I think so," he said when asked whether he felt prepared to make the step up. “We will see with the opportunity I get at the end of the year, but if I have the opportunity I will jump on it.” Leclerc is nonetheless wary that he had to emerge...
