Hungarian GP: Rosberg fastest in FP2 as Hamilton crashes

Nico Rosberg celebrated his Mercedes contract extension by setting the fastest time in second practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix, as teammate Lewis Hamilton crashed out of the session. Rosberg's position at the top of the times was effectively unopposed after Hamilton lost control of his car at Turn 11 and slithered sideways into the tyre wall. Although he drove his car back to the pits, Mercedes elected not to run the car again while it carried out detailed technical checks. It meant Hamilton didn't get to run on the supersoft tyre. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo was second fastest, six tenths off Rosberg's pace, with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel in third, nine tenths back on the Mercedes....
