Hamilton says new kerbs “sent me flying” into crash barrier

Lewis Hamilton has blamed the new kerbing at the resurfaced Hungaroring for causing his crash in free practice two for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Hamilton hit the tyre wall at Turn 11 after clipping the white kerb on corner entry, which flicked his car into a half-spin. "There's nothing I can do about it, it's done, no point in getting held up about it," said Hamilton. "Those new white kerbs, I just touched it and whoooa, sent me flying. "It was a pretty hard hit, but I still love it here so I'm going to enjoy my evening and come back tomorrow fresh for the morning.
