Renault turn focus to 2017 spec of cars

Renault said they have shipped their focus to next year where the new specification of cars are hoping to be up to 5 seconds faster……     The new rules for next year mean that the cars can have a much larger profile to accommodate the added speed they want to have.   “The team and the car has not evolved in the way that we wanted it to,”  Renault chief Cyril Abiteboul said.   “The reason we wanted to put a little bit of development into this year, not an awful lot, just a little bit, was to understand a bit better the structure.
