Rosberg stays on top in Hockenheimring FP2

For the second consecutive session, Nico Rosberg edged out championship rival Lewis Hamilton to hold the fastest time of the session, as Mercedes edged clear of its rivals thanks to its power and chassis advantage.  The German driver's fastest lap was a 1.15.614 which was 0.394s faster than his team-mate who arguably sat on the back foot here in Germany. The evidence from Friday Practice suggests the battle between Red Bull and Ferrari will be one to look out for, with the two competitive teams closely matched to each other.
