Haas: I think we had a lot of beginners luck

Gene Haas, boss of F1's newest team Haas, claims that the sport is harder than he first thought and attributes his team's early success to beginner's luck. Speaking to F1i Haas said, 'It seems like it’s getting harder. I think we had a lot of beginners luck there where we were able to capitalise on other people’s mistakes.' 'They’re making less mistakes so we are not looking as strong as we did in the beginning. So now we have to get back to earning our points instead of having someone give it to us.'
