Rosberg approves Halo after setting session-topping time

 XPB Images Mercedes Nico Rosberg has given his approval to the new Halo cockpit protection system, which he was able to trial in free practice at Spa on Friday morning. While other drivers also got a chance to try out the new device, Rosberg was the only one to go back out and complete flying laps with the Halo attached. One of the laps was fast enough to ultimately top the session. “It was good to try it and they’ve done a great job with it because it doesn’t disturb me at all when I’m driving and increases the safety a lot," said Rosberg later.
