Halo did not ‘disturb' Nico Rosberg
Nico Rosberg claims that the Halo fitted onto his Mercedes during Practice 1 for the Belgian Grand Prix did not disturb him, as he went on to set multiple fastest laps. One of the main concerns of introducing the Halo cockpit protection was the visibility, and one the points which was much talked about was the visibility through a corner like Eau Rouge, however the German driver says there were ‘no issues' during climbing one of F1's most greatest corners. Rosberg wasn't the only driver to head out on track with the Halo device fitted; Ricciardo, Sainz, and Hulkenberg also used the controversial cockpit protection, however the Mercedes driver was the only one to go further than...
