Kvyat: Back where we should be

Daniil Kvyat was a happy man on Saturday after Toro Rosso enjoyed a successful qualifying session ahead of Sunday’s Singapore Grand Prix. Kvyat and teammate Carlos Sainz Jr qualified in seventh and sixth places on the grid, respectively and the Russian was obviously pleased following one of the team’s best performances of the year so far. His feat was even more impressive given he only had one chance because of the limited number of supersoft tyres he had left. “A strong day today,” said Kvyat. “That last lap felt pretty good and, even if I only had one set of new Ultrasofts left for Q3, we delivered a solid performance and we can be pleased with a P7.'
