Kvyat or Gasly will occupy second Toro Rosso seat
Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has admitted either Kvyat or Gasly will be signed at Scuderia Toro Rosso for the 2017 Formula One season, and despite the speculation, the other seat will be occupied by Carlos Sainz. Daniil Kvyat has notably experienced his worst season in Formula One thus far; after being demoted from Red Bull Racing to Toro Rosso in April following his crashes in Russia, the Russian drivers performance has gone downhill there onwards. Despite Kvyat's poor run this year, Franz Tost says either Kvyat or Gasly has a chance to be signed for the 2017 Formula One season, however believes the same line-up for 2017 would be 'ideal'.
