Hamilton fastest ahead of Rosberg in FP2 Lewis Hamilton hits back to top as he fastest lap-time ahead his main title rival and Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in second practice at the Malaysian GP. The Brit’s best lap-time recorded 0.223 seconds quicker than Rosberg, with Sebastian Vettel made third fastest for Ferrari, finishing 0.6 seconds off Hamilton’s fastest time and team-mate Kimi Raikkonen set fourth fastest. Max Verstappen followed in fifth place for Red Bull ahead of Force India's Sergio Perez and McLaren's Fernando Alonso, who is already, received 30 place grid penalties after making changes to his power unit to accommodate new upgrades from Honda.
