Button says new Sepang asphalt feels "very strange"

Jenson Button says the new Sepang asphalt is "very strange", the Briton admitting it was hard to get to grips with the surface during practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix. The circuit has been resurfaced for this year's event, with all the bumps having been removed and the cambers at some corners changed. While the new asphalt is less abrasive and easier on the tyres, Button admitted he was not a fan of it. "It's very strange. You get a full sense of hope with it, because you feel like you have a lot of grip and suddenly it's taken away from you," said Button. "It's very strange, very difficult to read. It feels very like Sochi, in a way. It's tricky asphalt....
