Lauda 'very sorry' to Hamilton over failure
– Mercedes chief Niki Lauda has apologised to Lewis Hamilton for the late engine failure that cost him victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix.Hamilton was on course to reclaim the championship lead when his engine gave up with 15 laps to go, handing rival Red Bull a 1-2 victory.Hamilton's team-mate, Nico Rosberg, recovered to third after a first-corner collision to move 23 points clear with just five rounds remaining."I'm upset, for myself and for my organisation, as we shouldn't let him down with an engine failure," Lauda explained to Sky Sports, when asked for his reaction to the incident.."Engine failures can happen, we have to analyse carefully what went wrong; it was...
