British Grand Prix in jeopardy beyond 2019

The British Grand Prix is facing uncertainty beyond the 2019 Formula One season, and a nine month deadline has been set for the future of F1's classic racing circuit to be sorted out.  Silverstone has a contract to host Formula 1 races until 2026, however there is a clause on the contract which could come into effect after the 2019 British Grand Prix. BRDC president Derek Warwick says hosting Formula One in Silverstone has simply become 'too expensive'. F1 Hub is told Bernie Ecclestone will be directly involved in talks to resolve the problems regarding the race in Silverstone, and action will be taken by July 9th, 2017.
