Mercedes set for second 2016 title chance
– Mercedes has its second opportunity to clinch the 2016 Constructors' Championship at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.Mercedes was set to wrap up the crown for a third successive year at the most recent round in Malaysia, with Lewis Hamilton leading and Nico Rosberg fourth.However, Hamilton's engine failure allowed Red Bull to take a 1-2 finish, delaying Mercedes' crowning for a further week.Mercedes has amassed 553 points, to Red Bull's 359, meaning it has a 194-point lead, with a 172-point buffer required when the sport departs Suzuka.Red Bull therefore needs to outscore Mercedes by 23 points in order to keep its slender title aspirations alive.Irrespective of Red Bull's...
