Mercedes protest to be heard at US GP

– Mercedes' protest against Max Verstappen's defending from Lewis Hamilton in the closing stages of the Japanese Grand Prix will be held at the next round in the United States.Hamilton, on a recovery drive after a poor start, attacked Verstappen at Suzuka's final chicane for second on the penultimate lap, with Verstappen moving to cover the inside line.Hamilton took evasive action and ran wide, before rejoining in third, with the positions unchanged to the finish, leaving Hamilton 33 points behind race-winning team-mate Nico Rosberg.Mercedes lodged a protest over Verstappen shortly after the race, but the hearing has been delayed until the United States Grand Prix, as both drivers...
