Alonso: McLaren now ready to attack next year
Fernando Alonso has faith that McLaren's structure is fully ready to 'attack' next season's Formula 1 championship, as he predicts a big step from engine supplier Honda. The Spaniard, who has yet to finish on the podium since rejoining the Woking-based outfit at the start of 2015, believes that the overhaul of the McLaren team that has been overseen by racing director Eric Boullier has put the team in a good place to make a good step next season. "The whole change for next year will mix the cars a little bit and some of the information that we have with this year's car will not be useful any more for next year because it changes everything," said Alonso.
