Ferrari handed 5,000 fine for unsafe release

– Ferrari has been handed a 5,000 fine after Kimi Räikkönen was released in an unsafe manner following his third pit stop at the United States Grand Prix.Räikkönen was locked in a battle for fourth position with Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel when he was serviced for a third time on lap 39.However, a cross threaded wheel nut caused Räikkönen to be released in an unsafe manner, and he was forced to park his SF16-H at the pit exit."The car was released before all the mechanics had finished fitting all wheels correctly," deemed the stewards."As the car was not classified a fine is imposed."Vettel went on to add 12 points to Ferrari's tally courtesy of third...
