Vettel defends his cursing words on team radio
Mexican Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel has defended his excessive cursing over team radio during the Mexico race. During a late battle for the podium, Max Verstappen cut the first corner during his defence again Vettel, maintaining position. Though Verstappen was not asked to give Vettel the position straightaway, the incident was investigated by the Stewards. Meanwhile, Vettel expressed his anger over the team radio, eventually telling Race Director Charlie Whiting to “f*** off”. “I had reason to be angry,” Vettel said to Sky Sports F1 in the interview pen after the race. “I went immediately to see [Charlie Whiting].
