Renault retains Palmer for 2017

Renault Sport F1/DPPI Renault confirms that it will retain Jolyon Palmer for the 2017 Formula 1 season. Palmer will join the recently-announced Nico Hülkenberg to complete the team’s driver line-up for next year. Twenty-five year old Jolyon Palmer won the GP2 Series in 2014 and joined Renault as the third driver at the start of the 2015 season, graduating to race driver in 2016. He has started 18 grand prix to date, scoring his first world championship point at this year’s Malaysian GP. “We are delighted to retain Jolyon as our driver for the 2017 season.
