Palmer: Early Monaco exit caused reset

– Renault driver Jolyon Palmer says his early exit from the Monaco Grand Prix in May caused the Briton to reset his approach, which eventually led to him retaining his seat for 2017.Palmer endured a troublesome start to his Formula 1 career, failing to start in Bahrain, finishing last in China, before crashing out at the start in Monaco, his second accident of the weekend.Palmer scored his first point in Malaysia and Renault announced prior to the Brazilian Grand Prix that he will line up alongside Nico Hülkenberg in 2017, with Kevin Magnussen switching to Haas."There were some times where it was looking not so good," Palmer commented."Monaco was a tough weekend,...
