Toro Rosso yet to fully understand rear rim failures

 XPB Images Toro Rosso's efforts in Friday practice at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix were curtailed after Daniil Kvyat suffered two rear rim failures, with the team yet to fully understand the root cause of the issue. The Russian first had to stop his car in FP1 after he could not limp back home following what was then thought to be only a puncture. However, when the same problem sent Kvyat spinning at high speed in the second practice, it was decided not to have him, nor his team-mate Carlos Sainz back out on track.
