Revised F1 2017 calendar avoids Le Mans clash

The new Formula 1 2017 calendar, approved at the World Motor Sport Council in Vienna, features a new date for the Grand Prix in Baku, which has been moved to avoid a clash with the Le Mans 24 Hours. Baku's debut grand prix this year took place on the same weekend as the 84th edition of the Le Mans event, and Azerbaijani organisers were keen to avoid a similar clash for 2017. But while the initial drafts of the F1 2017 calendar placed the Azerbaijan race on the June 17-18 weekend, overlapping with Le Mans yet again, the Baku event has now been moved to a week later.
