Nico Rosberg retires from Formula 1

Just days after winning the 2016 Drivers' Championship Nico Rosberg has announced his retirement from Formula 1. The German, just 31 years of age, raced to his first World title last Sunday in Abu Dhabi, beating Lewis Hamilton by five points. It was the culmination of a life-long dream, however, days later Rosberg shocked the world of Formula 1 by announcing his retirement. “Since 25 years in racing, it has been my dream, my ‘one thing’ to become Formula One World Champion,' he said.
