Magnussen enjoys peace of mind from early Haas move

Kevin Magnussen says he enjoys the peace of mind that comes with securing a multi-year deal with the Haas F1 Team well ahead of the off-season. The Dane will move across from Renault to the US outfit after a challenging 2016 campaign that saw him secure two top-10 finishes to score seven of the eight points amassed by Renault on its return as a fully-fledged Formula One constructor. 2016 team-by-team review: Part 1 However, that did not prove enough for Magnussen to be presented with more than a one-year extension by Renault, with the 24-year-old electing to join Haas instead.
