Schumacher would be welcome in Ferrari Driver Academy – Rivola

Mick Schumacher would be welcomed to the Ferrari Driver Academy with a red carpet, according to FDA manager Massimo Rivola. The young German, who has also been linked to the Mercedes-Benz junior programme, has impressed Rivola, not just on track with his driving ability but off track as well, especially with the pressure that is put on him by the media. Seventeen-year-old Schumacher is stepping up into the FIA European Formula 3 Championship in 2017 with Prema Powerteam, and Rivola admitted that they will be able to keep a close eye on him as Guan Yu Zhou, a current member of the FDA, will be amongst his team-mates.
