Newey: 2017 regulation changes 'a mixed bag'

– Red Bull Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey has described the 2017 Formula 1 regulation changes as a "mixed bag" and is wary that increased downforce levels could prove detrimental to racing.Formula 1 will enter a new era of technical regulations for 2017, with cars set to be four to five seconds per lap faster than 2016, due to revised aerodynamics and much wider Pirelli tyres.Newey, who has overseen the design of Red Bull's RB13, is conscious that the alterations to cars could have a negative impact on overtaking."I think [it's a] mixed bag in some ways, mixed feelings, the extra downforce is a big chunk," Newey said at the Autosport Show."That means...
