Liberty offers teams chance to invest in F1

– Liberty Media has confirmed that has offered Formula 1 teams the opportunity to invest in the sport, following the FIA giving the required green-light to its acquisition, in a statement issued on Thursday.Liberty, which initially took on an 18.7 per cent stake in Formula 1 last September, is proposing to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Delta Topco, Formula 1's parent company.Having received the approval of its stakeholders, and the FIA's World Motor Sport Council, Liberty has now revealed plans to provide Formula 1 teams the opportunity to invest."Liberty Media Corporation announced today that it intends to issue cash convertible senior notes in a private offering,"...
