Ecclestone: I've been deposed

Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed to a German magazine that his long reign as the boss of Formula One is over. The 86-year-old's position as the sport's chief executive has been in doubt since the sale of its commercial rights to Liberty Media was approved by the FIA last week. Quotes attributed to Ecclestone, published by German magazine Auto, Motor and Sport, suggest the incoming owners have already made a decision. "I was deposed today," he said. "This is official, I do not run the company any more."
