Hulkenberg: 'An exciting day with my new family!'

©WRI2 Renault and Nico Hulkenberg enjoyed a reliable and consistent on the opening day of pre-season testing in Barcelona. The French team didn't quite get as many laps as it wanted however following an issue with the front brake ducts of its R.S.17 which slightly shortened its programmed track time. But Hulkenberg, who looked like a somewhat negative 'Stig' as he donned an immaculate black helmet with a dark visor, sampled only the medium tyre compound, was happy with his day at the office.
