Vettel: 'The car was phenomenal'

Sebastian Vettel reckons he was expecting to get a good result in qualifying after his car showed strong performance during practice session. The German driver scored the first pole position of the 2017 Formula One season for Ferrari, in a qualifying session that put an end to Mercedes' 19-race streak of pole positions. Both Ferrari drivers locked the front row of the grid at the Russian Grand Prix with Vettel coming 0.059 seconds ahead of team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, to clinch his second pole position for Scuderia Ferrari and the 209th for the Maranello team.  “I think it’s just great”, said Vettel. “We had had a very good run also yesterday and...
