F1 chasing ‘above' 21 races

Liberty Media are keen to see the Formula 1 calendar extended beyond next year's 21 grands prix. Next season the calendar is up to 21 as while Formula 1 is losing the Malaysian Grand Prix, France and Germany are back. However, F1's commercial managing director reckons 21 is just the start. 'We want to work in partnership with our teams in terms of determining where we go, but our view is that we’d like to go above 21 (races),' Bratches told Reuters. 'And we want to be a little bit more proactive and go on the offensive in terms of the markets where we go.'
