Budkowski joining Renault as Executive Director

Renault have announced in a press release that Marcin Budkowski, former head of FIA's technical department, will join the team in a controversial move. All members of the Strategy Group had written to the FIA and Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey to try and block Budowski from joining forces with the Enstone team after he handed in his resignation with the FIA last week. Budkowski is aware of all the teams' plans for next season and the rest of the paddock believe the move is unethical as he can pass this knowledge on to Renault for the 2018 campaign because he only has to serve a three-month gardening leave period.
