War of words ignites between Horner and Arrivabene!
Christian Horner and Maurizio Arrivabene clashed in Friday's team principal press conference over Ferrari's alleged breach of a tacit agreement involving gardening leave periods for FIA officials joining F1 teams. Ferrari announced last week the recruitment of FIA safety director and deputy race director Laurent Mekies, with the Frenchman scheduled to start work in September following a 6-month gardening leave period. Mekies' move follows a similar scenario which took place last year when FIA technical director Marcin Budkowski was poached by Renault, much to the displeasure of several rival teams which given the proprietary and sensitive information held by the former senior FIA official....
