Ricciardo ‘pissed' at AGP grid penalty decision
Daniel Ricciardo Daniel Ricciardo described a stewards decision to issue a three-place grid penalty for the Australian Grand Prix as ’s**thouse.’ The Red Bull Racing driver was judged to have driven too fast on his way back to the pits following a red flag period midway through Practice 2 caused by a loose timing cable on the start/finish straight. Ricciardo had been on a flying lap and failed to stay above the minimum time set by the FIA ECU, although evidence proved the five-time grand prix winner slowed down significantly, which lessened the severity of his penalty. The Australian was aggrieved by the decision and disagreed with the penalty full stop when speaking to Network Ten...
